Designated Teams

The Travel Consultants at the GTM Client Service Centers are organized into Designated Teams of experienced Corporate Travel Consultants assigned to specific clients. This arrangement creates a familiarity with your individual travelers, their preferences and company policies.

GTM initiates each relationship with introductions and training so that all travelers and travel planners become familiar with the GTM online booking tools and their Designated Team of Travel Consultants. The Designated Team provides prompt service that your travelers will not find when booking online at airline or other travel Web sites. GTM has found that education and the Consultant relationships are often enough to win over your employees' loyalty. However, we also recognize that some employees may not be quick to change allegiance or recognize the savings potential of the GTM program.

Whether a trip is initiated online or on the phone, your company's Designated Team will manage all necessary follow-up including changes, refunds or special services.

Online Travel Planning

The seamless combination of technology and service is the key to GTM’s High Tech, High Touch model. GTM support services are integrated with the Fully-Managed Online Service. When a traveler/travel arranger books a trip utilizing the Online Platinum service, it is sent immediately for review for a better fare, utilizing our web scanning technology, consolidators, alternate routing, etc. Our IT Department has developed the most extensive online search system that utilizes multiple software programs. While these programs are very good individually, GTM’s IT Department has taken them to a new level, enabling our consultants to scan over 150 different Web sites while simultaneously accessing flight information through the GDS.

The GTM Web site incorporates the Cliqbook™, GetThere™ and Rearden™ booking engines since there is no one-size-fits-all solution when it comes to online booking and corporate travel management.

Since online reservations go through the same rigorous quality control process as telephonic reservations, profiles will be accessed and accommodated in the same way as well. If your specific information such as frequent flyer numbers and seating preferences are in your profile, it will be added to the reservation and documented in the itinerary.

Customized Online Booking Tool

GTM’s online booking solution is customizable for individual companies, enabling GTM to program private fares including air, hotel and car rates as well as travel policy information. We can also provide a direct link from your intranet site which can be privately labeled.

GTM’s Designated Teams provide complete support for reservations originating online so travelers can book with confidence and change plans with ease.

International Planning & Global Service

Teams from the GTM International Department are assigned to all clients as part of their service program. International Consultants can be reached directly by calling our toll free number or by e-mail. Requests are handled promptly and confirmation is forwarded to the traveler.

GTM is an affiliate with BCD Travel global alliance, which operates in over 90 key commercial countries.   As an affiliate, GTM is part of the largest worldwide network of travel agencies, providing you local assistance around the globe.  BCD Travel Affiliates provide all the specialized services needed for safe, cost-sensitive international travel including an International Rate Desk for greater savings, passport and VISA services and emergency medical services. Through our consortium of affiliates, travelers can confirm, make or change reservations 24/7.

Emergency / After-hours

GTM Consultants are available from 7AM to 11PM Monday through Friday, 8AM to 9PM Saturday and Sunday, EST.  Our 24-hour/emergency Consultants handle all calls outside those hours.
